Oh What A Night

I have little to say tonight except my admiration for our local Labour candidate who ran an amazing campaign in a strong Tory constituency ( was John Major's).

He arrived at our house early this morning to take his campaign board down after having such a horrid night. I hope he stands again in the future but in the meantime he goes back to his work as a paediatrician at Hinchinbrooke hospital. Yes that's the one that was handed over to a private company, hailed as a huge success, only to have the company walk away after about a year!
