G-ULFS

Allegedly the property of a Mr James Dyson, this is the now famous Gulfstream G6 aircraft referred to in the song Like a G6 by Far East Movement.  The aircraft, although referred to as a Gulfstream G6 is actually a G650.  Guess that didn’t sound as good in the song.
 
Not a bad wee toy to own if you have the money to run it.
 
The plane is capable of a maximum speed if 610mph, just under the speed of sound.  With 2 Rolls-Royce turbofan engines it can cruise for 7,000 nautical miles at a service ceiling of 51,000 ft.  It was delivered to its base at Bristol airport in September 2013.
