Suitable Weather for Ducks
Today, it was up early and off to Addenbrookes for a long awaited MRI. We left nice and early and arrived 25 minutes before the appointment time. As I was a the first patient for that shift, it was straight in, MRI'd and out before we had even reached the time for that appointment; that is what I call service! So having finished our main business it was off into Cambridge to get a couple of things that Mrs GOG wanted. Only one minor drawback, it was still only 0830 and most shops open at between 1000 and 1100! "Never mind, we can take some pictures for our blip", said Mrs GOG. The weather was wet, alternating between fairly heavy rain and drizzle, so when I saw ducks walking happily along and into the market square, before walking toward us, I thought that they would make a very representative blip. This is far from the best picture that I took today, but it is by far the most representative of what the weather was good for and my feelings at that time.
Having waited for the shops to open and bought the odds and ends Mrs GOG wanted, we had an excellent lunch and then walked a little before returning home. During the walk I remembered to buy a couple of batteries and some odd photographic items. Despite the weather it turned out to be a quite enjoyable day.
