Lunch
Travelled home from the conference today after stopping at Abbotsleigh Early Learning Centre where Hazel works for a visit.
The visit was lovely. The centre is so different from ours, but still so much the same. It was interesting to see how other centres deal with the same challenges.
On our way home we stopped at a coffees shop in Singleton that I found on TripAdvisor. It is set in a florist and 'old wares' shop and the food is lovely. The pigs on the wall caught my attention. I would have bought them if I had a spare $200 or so.
Our bill was brought to us in the book ' The saggy, baggy elephant' that I remember so well from my childhood. When I opened the cover, the inscription was to Andrew Graham. Such a strange moment since Graham Andrew is my brother! I'm sure the book is probably still sitting on the shelf at home 40 something years later!
