Corn, maize, Zea mays var. everta, Popcorn

I know it's corny but I do love the stuff. :)
Loaded with butter and salt.
Covered with toffee and tossed with sugared nuts.
Drizzled with chocolate.
Plain with a hint of salt and pepper.
Floating in tomato soup.
With wine.
With beer.
With coffee (weird but true).

Did you know that popcorn was the first food intentionally microwaved?
(The chocolate bar that melted in the engineers pocket who was developing the technology doesn't count. Yes, that really happened, but I digress.)

Popcorn makes life a little nicer.
Mine anyway.
