Choir competition

The local high school chamber choir made it to the state championships after winning the district. Today was the big day. We traveled to Newberg to watch our granddaughter Aspen sing. They sounded wonderful, but did not place among the first five choirs. The coolest thing was this: In the award ceremony, with the 12 choirs in the audience, we stood up and sang the national anthem. Wow, did it sound awesome! Aspen is in the center front, with the other lovely sopranos.
