Into the Pink

It was an amazing 'blue hour' on the beach this morning. Over my shoulder the sky was glowing deep apricot and the rising sun was throwing the clouds in the western sky this gorgeous deep pink. 
For the record, no enhancing of colour has been done to this image! even though it was RAW.
A friend of mine calls the 'blue hour' 'earth shadow'. Has anyone heard of that?

PS - I just Googled 'earth shadow' and came up with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth%27s_shadow   The pink in the photo in wikipedia is exactly the same.
