One for...
sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy,
Five for silver,
Six for gold,
Seven for a secret never to be told
In other news: I watched this magpie this morning as he diligently soaked scraps of stale bread in the bird bath in my front garden. He would back and forth with lumps of bread and then fly away when he had a sizable amount soaking. Returning a little while later to eat them.
This carried on for most of the morning. However his breakfast endeavours did not go unnoticed as a pair od greedy crows and this woodpigeon helped themselves.
Quite pleased with these pictures as they were taken through the kitchen window. Who knows, this may inspire me to actually clean them one day.
Another blog post shared in remembrance of the 70th Anniversary of VE Day yesterday. Not all deaths attributed to World War Two were a result of enemy action.
