Rain, rain, rain

Typical that on a bank holiday weekend all it has done is rain, rain and rain. I wonder if there is still a hosepipe ban on in the midlands.

As my mom was a work today I had to cook Sunday dinner for everyone. I went for the lamb roast which everyone loved. It is actually easier cooking for lots of people than cooking just for me.

I brought my mom a log burner (pic) for her garden today. It's mainly because my sister is throwing Emily a 1st birthday party at my moms next weekend and it will keep people warm. Also because my mom has had her garden done and I thought it would look nice. I hope it doesn't rain next week for Emily's party.

I'm not really a fan of the royal family
but I did watch the Thames river pageant. You have to give it to us brits that no matter what the weather is like or what the circumstances are, we always make the best of what we have.
