Awaiting GO SET A WATCHMAN, hoping it doesn't suck

Not long now until Harper Lee's novel Go Set a Watchman appears in print. In case you missed all the fuss, the author of To Kill a Mockingbird is publishing a new novel. This was written before TKaM, but apparently features the child characters from that classic as adults.

Soon after that news came out, there was a lot of speculation about whether Lee wanted the manuscript to see print after all this time. Mockingbird is so beloved, nobody wants the new book to suck.

In the meantime, here's an extreme close-up of a detail from the film poster for TKaM. Those dots you can see are known as Ben Day, named after the person who invented them as a means of printing all sorts of hues by using dots made up of four primary colours.

Ben Day gets mentioned a lot on Wally Wood's 22 Panels That Always Work, in case you were wondering: https://www.flickr.com/photos/warrenellis/4043479776

And why all this burbling from me? A long day of marking.
