Bunting season

The bunting went up just before St Georges day and has been there for Sweeps' and will stay up all summer, on through the Dickens' festival, castle concerts season... until the end of the summer.
I think it makes an average week feel  a bit more festive all around!

I took a lot of photos of other things too but I had blurry spots on them from a dirty lens screen, which I didn't realise until after the event. For some reason the few shots I took of this view didn't seem to be affected although ones before and afterwards were... hmm... all clean now! 

A quiet day lazing, game playing, reading the paper, doing puzzles, pub lunch etc. Fred's cooking tonight. Saturday is my best day off really!
