all hail the hale hailman

The north end of town got pummeled with hail Thursday, but we escaped. In fact our neighborhood is known as the "banana belt" because we get less of the white stuff in the winter.
But that was not the case early this morning. At 3 am Laney let us know that bad things were happening outside.
And now there is snow in the forecast as well.
Remind me of this when I am apt to complain about the heat and dry weather this summer!
