There is a light and it never goes out

Watched a BBC4 documentary on the guitar riff last night - it featured an interview with Johnny Marr of the Smiths; great guitarist and the title of this Blip is stolen from one of my favourite Smiths tracks. (Unlike the song this light will go out - when the batteries run flat!!??).
