Evening Grosbeaks Make A Visit

What a delight to see the evening grosbeaks in our backyard again.  They really are stunningly beautiful with such intense color.  Most of these were taken from inside through the window as they tend to be shy, although B insists that he was outside and they hung around (maybe because he feeds them?)

It was a long day, getting ready for the Parkinson's auction tomorrow night, and dealing with Obama in Portland at the same hotel...not exactly easy to get a parking spot, but we managed and everything got done!  It's going to be a great event.
