Jubilee

Had a very enjoyable afternoon at the Stroud on Water event, which had a distinct diamond jubilee flavour about it.

The highlights were poetry readings by the Apologetic poets and the Stroud Poets, and folk music by Dark Island (aka Alex West and Dave 'Scotty' Scott). One culinary peak I have to mention was the most wonderful takeaway green chicken curry with rice. Fantastic quality.

Sadly the weather intervened halfway through the afternoon, which made our decision to go early a good one. But it was a fun day nonetheless.
