The Spire and Jim Larkin

During our visit to Dublin, we made the standard walk along O'Connell Street>  It was a surprise how it had changed since I was last there - the Spire being a newer to the busy thoroughfare.  It is also the only piece of sculpture which has no political connection.

The statue of Jim Larkin is almost next to The Spire and it is one of many which speaks to the political past of the country.
