Waiting
Election day which meant the now traditional up very early and over to the polling station. My polling assistant called off so the reserve was duly awoken and arrived in time to help set up.
In previous years things have been quite stressful at times as queues form of electors waiting to vote. As with the referendum this time there was not one moment of stress or panic as we quickly dealt with 670 voters. My Polish colleague was excellent and the day kind of flew by as only sitting in a seat for 15 hours permits.
Caught up with dozens of neighbours.
The stress started after however as I went to two other polling stations to collect the votes for delivery at the counting hall.
As with previous elections utterly surreal but a wonderful experience, love it.
