Sisters.

Sadly, MaggieD's Mum's sister was unable to come to yesterday's little "do" so, this morning we took the party to her.
Bearing some of the last of the birthday cake and some shortbread we drove down to need Biggar and surprised MaggieD's aunt and cousin. So here you have MaggieD's Mum (90) and Aunt Isobel (94), they don't make them like this nowadays!
Back home, lunch of left over sandwiches, then off out to check out the bluebells up near Alva. A pleasant if muddy woodland walk but those bluebells are not as good as they used to be. A few years ago the woodland was "tidied up" which opened out the treetop canopy which let's lots of other plants spring up at the same time as those bluebells. Maybe that or maybe global warming; I really don't know.
