Snoozing.

Much to my relief, there are still five cygnets - one of them was looking decidedly seedy yesterday, but seems to have perked up - I'm so happy! These two decided to catch a few ZZZ's on their mother's back, while the others were swimming - see extra photo.
Coot/ Pen update - in one of my extra photos the Coot can be seen offering the Pen  few tips as to how to add the finishing touches to her side of  their semi detached dwelling. I am still amazed by the way these two birds have settled down together.  What is going to happen when the first batch of babies arrive is anyone's guess.
