Jubilee Hot Dogs

It was a miserable, rainy start to the day today which didn't bode well for the Jubilee event we were planning to head up to at the local cricket club. However, the sun did come out later in the day, even if it did remain cold.

We had planned to meet up with Missus B up there, so when she texted me to say that Lucinda had just gone down for a nap and they would be heading up when she woke, I wondered what the chances would be of managing to co-ordinate Ethan's nap. So I told him Lucinda was having a little sleep and if he had one too he could go and play with her when he woke up. He was clearly very keen to go and play with Lucinda cos he climbed in his pushchair and 10 minutes later was sound asleep!

Unfortunately an hour later he was still sound asleep and I had to wake him up. He wasn't very impressed and kept trying to go back to sleep, crying "more sleep mummy, more sleep"!

The Jubilee event turned out to be rather disappointing so we spent more time playing in the playpark than anything else! However he did enjoy getting his face painted and eating a hot dog.

I then brought him over to the Foreveryoung household where we're staying the night. He discovered Eden's hairbands and insisted on wearing one ... all afternoon ... to the playpark when we took a post dinner trip there .... and in bed too! He is currently fast asleep with it on and I have lots of photos to embarass him with when he's older!
