View from the window

The availability of quite a good view of the Koningin Astreidplein in Antwerp has been a double edged sword. Yes, we can see the magnificent station building. But you can also hear the kids wandering through the square at all hours of the night, as well as the trams and other vehicles.

Furthermore, on the second night, we discovered not just the difficulties of keeping any air flowing in the place,  because you couldn't open the window or make the aircon work properly (it blew out hot air), but you also had some sort of plastic sheet on top of the mattress and under the sheet. That had predictable results in terms of discomfort....

Nice hotel room, friendly hotel, but not sleeping well....
