Softplay

The old bingo hall in Kirkcaldy has been converted into a softplay called wonderworld.

I'm not a big fan of softplay but I have been impressed with this one. It's very spacious, clean and staff have always been polite and helpful when I've visited. It's great for Alfie and Ellie as lots to do and I really don't see them for the 2hrs play they gets part from when they're thirsty or wanting something to eat . I think because they're that wee bit older now I can trust them to be nice to other kids and behave in this sort of place.

There's a separate area for smaller kids which also seems really good :-) plus every so often a character comes out (staff dressed as Olaf, doc mcstuffins etc) to meet kids, hug and dance with them - yes might seem weird to is adults but kids loves this :-)

It's not cheap at £5.95 for each child but for me, today, it was worth it for my sanity and to sit and have a hot cuppa while kids burn off some energy, especially since John is away at the moment.
