Beautiful but far too Short
A trip over to Riddlesden near Keighley, firstly to check out the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust reserve at Low Wood, and then on for a welcome cup of Yorkshire tea, sandwich and cake at East Riddlesden Hall.
The nature reserve was thickly carpeted with wild bluebells, and the gardens at East Riddlesden Hall were carpeted with cherry apple blossom petals.
The poster in the cafe says that the profits from every slice of cake you eat contributes to the Hall's conservation projects - so my cake eating is vindicated at last - all for a good cause.
