Cake!

After a morning at the allotment planting onions, beetroot and lettuce, we decided we needed cake. Mr EG s request for fruit cakebwas over ruled and me and the kids made a scrummy chocolate cake. Mr EG did manage a piece!

Afternoon was spent putting down hardstanding for our new arbour and building it as well as planting up a few pots for the front of the house and clearing up the Nell debris off the patio! We now can't have any pots or bedding plants round the back cos Nell is really into gardening. Think I'll have to put some hanging baskets up for a bit of colour.

Had a lovely ride just me and lime this evening and got home just in time to tuck Toby and Eva in. Mike went for a blast on his road bike.
