Went into town to take some photos of St James Centre before it gets taken down after the Christmas shopping season. Ran into security twice for taking photos of some concrete architecture. I don't get it - our world is full of cameras, CCTV everywhere, selfiesticks, mobile phones, live TV, social media, the lot. Yet, looking at some concrete rouses suspicion. To be fair, the security guards were nice, but still... Duck, don't stick out. I want to critically see and perhaps document, but my interest is in observation, shapes, contrast and situation. It does piss me off...
