Walls

My husband has wanted to take me to The Bothy for ages. So today I met him as I had has such a great day yesterday.

It was ok...a bit underwhelmed tbh.

These were the walls. I think they are trying to be high quality but will a "cool" factor... Which didn't really work for me.
It may have worked if I hadn't been given a chipped teapot which really should have been binned. (It wasn't a quaint teapot either, just one that has been dropped)

It also didn't pass the Kirsten tea test. I think tea should always be served with something. A biscuit, a tiny bit of tablet, a wee choc, something. It's that extra touch which makes a difference. Here they failed.
