Long Weekend

In more ways than one, as well as having a long four day weekend it was a long two days.
We left for Sunbury on Saturday following breakfast at the Shed. We went via Reading to drop off furniture at Mark's this made the journey some seven hours long.
Travelodge - not good - made up the beds ourselves, pay and display hotel car park, poor and expensive food.
£55 in taxi fares to get from the hotel to the party venue, this made the cost of attending the party, for one night, £375.
We travelled back via Ikea in Bristol making the return journey again seven hours.
At the party I saw most of my family but not those in the photo, my daughter Sarah, son-in-law Manolo and grandchildren Luis and Anais. I miss them a great deal and am looking forward to September.
