A new pet

This wee guy came back with us from Katowice's XIXth century village life's outdoor museum (skansen). I simply could not resist. 

The apple on his back is also a symbol of one of the very first urban legends, as it is both completely untrue and commonly known that hedgehogs carry apples on their backs...
