Blossom

It has been quite windy. so the cherry blossom has been blowing off the trees. It has ended up in drifts on the street as here in Stockbridge. The contrast between the pink, the yellow line and the dark of the setts is rather good. I've also included an extra shot of the blossom on the Water of Leith near the Gallery of Modern Art. The patterns are like a painting to my eyes; I am a heathen when it comes to art so I prefer this to the stuff in the galleries.
