Mayday

The 'Mayday tree" is one of my favourite trees: there are about 7 or 8 of them on the street. 
Each May they produce a wonderful show of white flowers that give off a beautiful yet subtle aroma the pervades the whole neighbourhood. 
The show is over within a week and usually the weather is not nice enough to sit outdoors to sip your wine and savour the scent.
Spectacular nonetheless
