Neatly Folded Flower

I drove out looking for a Blip this morning and got excited seeing across the sports fields, a turbulent sky and rays of light streaming down. But when I uploaded them to the computer, they looked drab and dreary. What happened to that lovely light I saw?

So, with rain now coming down, it was out with the macro filter again and a focus on a tiny primula bud neatly folded and ready to open. It was only a centimetre in width.

I dithered over which one to use as my main blip as I like both. Did I get it right? Thank goodness for the Extra Photo function.

They both look better in large.
