Mothers Day

Today is Mothers Day in Canada. To celebrate, our daughter invited us on a great outing to a place called Stowell Lake farm. This is an amazing place and one of the major sights here on Saltspring. Established by a wealthy lady who has realized her life's dream here. It is a farm with organic growing, a botanical garden and a magnificent retreat center where they among other things have yoga retreats. Today they had open house with produce and plants from their garden for sale, and they served excellent food. The photo shows my wife and daughter. They are standing under a tree with wonderful blue flowers. I show the flowers in the extra photo. We don't know what kind of tree it is, never seen anything like it. And it is not in our big tree dictionary.
