Grey Heron

We have a resident Heron living on the farm.  It sits by the cowshed, and flies between the shed and this pole.   It's a beautiful looking bird, with lovely expanded wings when it flies.

The weather deteriorated late this afternoon, and tonight it has been thundering, lightning with torrential rain. It's nice inside though, in front of the warm fire!
