May 11, 1985, Gill and I were at home in Yorkshire, I'm not sure why we turned on the TV but when we did we couldn't believe the scenes at Bradford City football ground where a stand was engulfed in flames. The next day, she was called in to hospital, dispensing medicines to burns victims and I was interviewing those fit enough and willing to talk. A weekend neither of us will forget.
