On Canada's Longest Street

The town of Aurora (just north of Toronto) today had their annual Street Festival on Yonge Street. The road was closed down for about 6 hours and vendors set up their wares on the street! There was a number of bands playing assorted music, a monkey and organ grinder, cheerleader and karate demonstrators, lots of prize baskets to be won and lots of business freebies given out! The weather for the most part was cloudy and cool. Thousands show up each year for this event as you can see in this picture Yonge Street gets quite crowded not with cars but with people! I was lucky today as I won a certificate to get a free hair do! Yes!
