And so to Arran for a flying mini-break.

The sun finally came out in Kildonan and we sat and shivered in the stiff breeze. We also watched the unfolding drama of a boat run into rocks due to an extremely low tide, with its grumpy owner sitting tight on board and his long-suffering wife, who finally waded in and pushed it single-handedly into the bay.
