The Big Beech

Has finally decided to let its leaves out although today it looked like they might pop in again. Forecast was good but it was windy and cold so back the the wood burner again. It has seemed such a long pre amble into Spring. Very few trees up here have their leaves. This big Beech tree has one of the prettiest young leaves I have seen.
