Flamenco Time

Rainy, rainy day, soaked to the skin, surrounded by whiny, clingy kids, sitting on the stairs in a jam-packed theater.

However, watching the flamenco dancers strut their stuff more than made up for any potential discomfort. S did a fabulous job on her choreography and general star power, but, unfortunately, none of my pictures came out properly. This girl in the photograph is 13 year old Conchita. Apparently she's the one to watch - Holland's Next Flamenco Dancer! Young though she may be, her face carries all the world's sorrow when she taps her heels.
