Not the Jubilee!

We do seem to have been a bit 'out of it' today judging by all the UK news. No pageantry, parties or flags around here.

However, we have had the same 'iffy' weather. The rain stopped, but it was cloudy this morning and the forecast wasn't good, so we decided to make a trip into Montreal. It was only an hour, part car and part Metro.

We wandered around the old town and the Vieux-Port. I nearly blipped another skyline, but then decided that the thing that had most impressed us was the Basilique Notre-Dame, North America's largest church. The interior is truly astonishing, with its Gothic Revival Architecture.
