Newt

I took our two classes in Year 4 to Carymoor Environmental Centre again today - this time for shelter building and pond dipping. As is traditional for me the weather started off wet and there was a severe weather warning for for wind so we had to all build the shelters in the morning.
the children loved the pond dipping which we did indoors and this newt was one of the favourite finds.
In the extra photo are some of the shelters they built. Lots of team work and support involved.
