From the Hide Window

A morning of doctors/dentists visit for M, so we took a restorative trip to College Lake (the excellent Wildlife Trust site near Tring, Herts) and were joined by my friend B.
Everything seems to have turned really green and lush over the last week as seen in this view from the lower bird hide.
We saw lapwing, greylags, Canada geese with chicks, redshanks, ringed plover, reed warbler, reed bunting, sparrow hawk, dunnock, oyster catcher, shelduck and many more.   A lovely afternoon!
