Deborah Bird - Ice Artist

This is a quick phone blip of Deborah Bird who was the guest speaker at our photography society. Her specialism is to freeze paper sculptures in water and then photograph the results, often on location. She has been an artist in residence at two national parks in the USA, including the Grand Canyon.

I found her work really interesting, and I might try having a go myself, even though she wouldn't reveal her secret technique. Thankfully she agreed to pose for a blip with one of her pieces of work which she had brought to illustrate her talk.
