Happy Birthday Mr A!

Today is my lovely man's birthday....except he 'doesn't celebrate' birthdays.

He said this last night, so I got all his cards and presents out, put them on the side (where he could see them) and said 'oh, you won't be wanting these then'?!

Funnily enough, he did want them after all. Fancy that.

He's deleted mine (& others) birthday messages off Facebook, as he didn't want people to know.

When I asked him why he is like this, he said why celebrate being a year closer to death? I said I'd rather look at it as celebrating still being alive!

There was zero chance of getting a photo of him with his birthday cake, so instead here's the card I sent him :-D
