More Books

We braved the Big Sale in St  Andrew's and St George's West today, picking up a few local history books and a replacement for my 1960's Good Housekeeping cookery book that has fallen apart, and managed to finish just as the rain covers were being deployed over the outside stalls.

We repaired to the portrait gallery for a wander round, during which the rain hammered on the glass roof, and emerged to sunshine.

The extra photo is a panorama of the rainbow which appeared after tea, taking which I got thoroughly wet. Enjoy.
