In the Deep Woods

I don't like to stray too far from the sea - so I love it when I can find a wood on the coast.
Howick Hall and Gardens (Northumberland) are about 2 miles inland- and they have a woodland walk that emerges on the coast ... wild and windy there today but still fab.
Stopped off at an antique place on the way up and found a great drafting table - not really an antique - Italian - looks to be about 20 years old but really practical - tilting top etc...  just needs a bit of tlc.
E - bless him - he bought a book on tractors... keeps him out of mischief :-)
