Clifftop Clinch

We decided against the ride today and went to Tantallon castle instead. It's one of my favourite places and Susan loved it too. The birds were entrancing, fulmars and martins sweeping around in the air currents.

The telescope gave us a brilliant view of the Bass Rock and the 20,000 gannets there (or is it 20,000 pairs? Lots anyway!) and we managed to get photos through the telescope on our iPhones :)

Home for some unpacking and a quiet time before parting again. What a brilliant weekend we've had!
