Our bridge

What a day! So many things checked on our NYC bucket list today: started off with a brunch at 'that place around the corner' that I've been wanting to check out for a long time. Then we walked 'our' Queensborough bridge, where I took today's blip. On the left you see the university campus, on the right Roosevelt island, accessible with its own cable tram. The bridge crosses the East River. After the bridge, we explored Astoria, before taking the subway into Brooklyn for the Brooklyn Botanical gardens and dinner in Greenwich village.
