Filoli Flower Show

Our 2nd biggest event of the year is coming up and the decorating has begun.  This event highlights the work of local floral design experts.  Floral designs will be featured all through the house and throughout the gardens for 4 days.  Tickets have been selling fast and we are anticipating over 4000 visitors in 4 days!

This is a very old golf cart that was used by the woman who lived at Filoli (Roth era), to traverse the many paths in the garden.  It was found about 30 years ago in disrepair and under overgrown shrubs and poison oak.  It was revived and deemed the mascot for the Flower Show each year.

I will probably post more photos as the show exhibits take shape.  Lots of work to do...
