Homage to Hokusai.

We went to the Museum of Fine Arts today to see the special exhibit of Katsushika Hokusai's works.  Need I say it was fabulous?!  In the middle of the space was this rather imaginative setee by furniture maker John Cederquist (of whom more here).  I gather from the blurb on Cederquist that he is a surfer, so it seems perfectly understandable for him to use  the motif from Hokusai's perhaps most famous woodcut, "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa" from 1832.  Cederquist's setee is part of the MFA's permanent collection.
