Aerial sculpture

Janet Echelman's aerial sculpture hovering over the Rose Kennedy Greenway in downtown Boston. One of the most incredible installations I have seen in a while. So glad I made time after work to see this beauty. 

If Janet ever comes to your town, definitely check out her work! This sculpture is made of soft netting with 542,500 knots, weighs approximately 1 ton and covers almost half an acre. I camped out under the sculpture for a while and watched it blow in the breeze. Pretty incredible.
